Because nothing says 'mature college students' like basing our concert off a twilight pun.
Fall 2016 was such a great semester! This fall, we welcomed our three amazing newbs to the HarmHoos family - Katie Tripp, Katie Bullard, and Maddy Goggin. Like the over-achievers they are, each of them also auditioned for and earned solos in our fall concert, Breaking Lawn Part Hoos! Why the twilight pun? Well, our concert was on Halloween weekend and some oppertunities are too good to miss. Plus, who wouldn't want to dress up in black and be in an angsty vampire photoshoot? In spite (or perhaps because of) the awful puns, the fall concert was an absolute blast. If you missed it, check us out on the music tab! In other exciting news, we have officially started recording our second album! Here's a sneak preview - our first song was 'Electric Love,' arranged and solo'd by the amazing Anna Perkins. We'll keep you updated on the recording process as it continues next semester! I'll just leave you with a slideshow of some incredible times we had this semester, including Lighting of the Lawn and caroling at Rosewood Villiage retirement home! If you missed our performance at LOTL, check us out on the livestream below at 2:08:40 singing Suddenly I See and Santa Claus is Coming to town. Happy Holidays from the Harmonious Hoos!
